An infrastructure design succeeds when the engineering team delivers a coordinated solution that the client can approve and the project can build.
Cabo Norte welcomes experienced Engineering Project Managers for potential opportunities with engineering consultancies and design companies working on infrastructure projects in Belgium.
The purpose of this role is to manage engineering assignments from scope definition through design delivery, coordinating disciplines, resources, programme and commercial performance.
You act as the link between the client and the engineering team. Depending on the company, your portfolio may include transport infrastructure, utilities, water infrastructure, ports or coastal developments.
The principal challenge is maintaining control of the assignment while design requirements, stakeholder expectations and technical interfaces continue to develop.
Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering infrastructure engineering assignments in Belgium.
- Exposure to transport, utilities, water, port or coastal infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating authority submissions and stakeholder approvals.
- Experience managing specialist subconsultants.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and common data environments.
- Exposure to both consultant-led and contractor-led design assignments.
- Experience preparing consultancy proposals and fee estimates.
- A recognised project management qualification or equivalent practical experience.

- Target location: Belgium.
- Sector scope: Infrastructure engineering, with project focus depending on the opportunity.
- Employer environment: Engineering consultancies and design companies.
- Languages: Dutch and/or French, depending on the office, clients and project location. English requirements will be confirmed for each opportunity.
- Travel: May include client meetings, stakeholder workshops and site visits within Belgium.
